Leading a workshop is an intimate and interactive way to inform and educate people on a topic of your passion, as it relates to your own experience, strength and hope. It is an opportunity to provide a safe environment for learning and possible healing on a particular topic. It is NOT a Twelve Step Meeting.
Presenters are encouraged to bring handouts and visual aids, leading specific activities, and encouraging participant interaction
Workshops can be led by one or multiple Presenters and someone may be designated as a Moderator to open the meeting and keep on topic.
1. Presenter/Moderator opens workshop usually with a prayer or by other process relevant to workshop.
2. Presenter introduces self and begins interactive workshop.
3. Presenter gives closing remarks and meeting ends with a closing prayer
4. Presenter/Moderator returns workshop comments sheet to the Program Committee desk after workshop is complete.
The Workshop Committee can provide you additional guidance as well as procuring flipcharts, etc.
